Founded in 1988
The Warriors Baseball Club was founded in 1988 for the purpose of providing American baseball players from NCAA II, NCAA III, NAIA and Jr. College programs the opportunity to travel and play abroad. The College Division Warriors have played in tournaments in Holland, Belgium and Germany. The Apeldoorn Baseball series in Holland is played each July.

H.S. & Jr. Divisions
In 1990, a High School division was created to provide High School aged players the opportunities available to the College Division. The High School Division Warriors travel exclusivley to Australia in August and in December.

The Jr. Division Warriors is a program for players aged 13-15 years. Begun in 1995, the Jr. Division Warriors travel to Holland each summer and to Australia in December.

Selection Criteria
Players invited to participate in the Warriors Baseball Club program, in all three Divisions, are selected based upon a combination of baseball skill, academic achievement and character/citizenship. References from coaches and teachers will be reviewed in making final player selection.

Educational/Cultural Goals
The goal of the Warriors program is to introduce young Americans to the cultures of the world. The game of baseball is the vehicle used to provide players with a quality of educational experience not available in any classroom, textbook, or college lecture. Past Warriors players report a greater understanding of international relations, interest in history and cultural affairs following their experiences abroad.

All Warriors programs include visits to the top tourist and cultural sites in the regions visited. Be it the Sydney Opera House or the Anne Frank House, the Warriors see and do it all.
